Social gaming giant Zynga has unveiled its online playground where users can enjoy its popular games without having to visit Facebook to do so.
The new site Zynga.com, which is currently in beta, has been launched with some of Zynga?s popular titles including CastleVille, Words With Friends, CityVille, Hidden Chronicles and Zynga Poker, and will offer more social games by the San Francisco-based firm and outside developers, in the days to come.
?Zynga.com is dedicated to games and the community of people who play them.?We want you to be able to connect with people from all around the world who love to play games like you do,? Zynga founder Mark Pincus said in a blog post.
?Zynga.com?is connected to the Facebook ?social graph? so game play and the actions of friends involved will follow users between the online venues. I see this as a great manifestation of our relationship with Facebook that goes deeper into gaming. In the morning you may check your news or social feeds on Facebook and then play games, but late in the afternoon you might just want to play, so you go to?Zynga.com,? Zynga general manager Manuel Bronstein told AFP.
This new gaming platform lets gamers play the games they already do without losing any progress or game neighbors.?You can pick up your game right where you left off and you?ll get to experience a few special features including the ability to share and get help from?everyone?playing your games on zynga.com.? Your feeds will be available on zynga.com and Facebook so your friends playing on Facebook can still help you.
