Most potato chip (and other snack) bags aren't too hard to open, but every once in a while you come across one that's so frustrating it makes you wonder if they really want you to get at the delicious treats inside. Redditor Xasf shows us how to open those bags.
If you don't have a pair of scissors or a knife nearby, he says, you can use two coins:
So you know how some chip bags won't easily rip along the intended seam, and if you try to exert too much force you risk it being blown wide open and potentially shower you with chips?
So to avoid that you place two coins on the opposite sides of the bag (close together) and squeeze the bag with your thumbs, as seen in the picture I've first posted. Then when you try to rip open the bag, the coins will work as makeshift scissors and neatly cut it open.
When you're done, you'll feel like you actually worked for your food and your snack will taste oh-so-much sweeter.
